J.S. Nathaniel is a dark fiction author writing stories where heroes wear villain faces and belief comes at a cost. His work spans novels, audiobooks, and interactive serial fiction released worldwide.

Raised without television by a single mother who taught him literature and impossible odds, Nathaniel began writing early, creating plays for drama clubs and producing his own work. In junior high, he distributed underground school newspapers until the administration shut him down.

After multiple rejections for Dominion of the Divine, Nathaniel chose professional self-publishing, working closely with editors to bring the novel to market. By 2023, he had written multiple novels, twenty-five short stories, and the collection Primitive Beauty: Author’s Sketchbook.
